Baba Ramchandra was the main leader of Peasant movement in Awadh during the Non-Cooperation Movement. Baba Ramchandra organised the Kisan Sabha and the movement spread far and wide. More and more peasants joined the Sabha. The nationalists including Gandhi supported the movement.
