Here is your answer :
___________________________

The above given rivers are the thrre major Himalayan rivers which are responsible for the Formation of Indo - Gangetic plain. These rivers are perennial as they are fed by Glaciers and melting of Snow.

The river systems are as follows :

● THE INDUS :
===========

The Indus orginates from the Kailash ranges, Tibet near lake manasarovar. It flows a north westerly direction through Tibet. It enters Indian Territory in jammu and kashmir. The Indus have five major tributaries viz. Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi,Beas and Sutlej. They spread in the J&k , Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

● THE GANGA :
==========

Ganga has two sources. The main source is Gangotri Glacier where it is called as Bhagirathi. The other is Satopanth Glacier towards Badrinath. These two join at Devprayag and form as Ganga in Haridwar hills. The Ganga has many Tributaries.

● THE BRAHMAPUTRA :
===================

Brahmaputra is called as Tsangpo in Tibet rises from the Chemayungdung Glacier in Kailash Glacier near Manasarovar. It flows east direction through Tibet. Then enters India in Arunachal Pradesh first as Siang and then as Dihang. In Assam valley this two Dihang and Lohit joins and named as Brahmaputra.

HOPE THIS HELPS U. .
