- The Santhal community lived in the mountainous areas of the Jharkhand-Bengal border areas – Manbhum, Badabhum, Singhbhum, Midnapore, Hazaribagh, Bankura area. Like the Kolas, the Santhals also revolted against the British for almost the same reasons.
