The classification of the heat zones of the earth is done by Greek Scholar Aristotle. According to his classification, there are three different zones in earth arises due to the temperature difference. Even though, some of the concept was incorrect, his classification according to temperature difference is accepted. The various zones are Torrid Zone, Frigid Zone and Temperature Zone respectively. Again these three are classified in to north frigid zone, north temperature zone, south temperature zone, south frigid zone etc.

Heya mate!
Here is your answer (s).........
1. TORRID ZONE:This zone lies between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. The areas lying on both sides of the Equator is called torrid zone.It remains very hot and wet throughout the year because direct rays of the Sun fall over it.
2. TEMPERATE ZONE: Temperate zone lies between Arctic Circle and Tropic of Cancer in the northern hemisphere and between Antarctic Circle and Tropic of Capricorn in the southern hemisphere. This zone has a mid-type climate,it is neither very hot nor very cold as these regions are far from the Equator and also from the poles.
3. FRIGID ZONE:This zone lies between the North Pole and the Arctic Circle in the northern hemisphere and between the Antarctic Circle and the South Pole in the southern hemisphere. The climate here is very cold and dry as these regions receive very slanting or no rays of the sun.
