Write a short note on third estate and subsistence crisis

Third estate people had to pay many taxes like tithes and tailles. They also had to follow the feudal dues and privileges i.e work for masters.They were discriminated in many ways.

In 1715 the population rose from 23 million to 28 million in 1789 which led increase in the demand of food grains, prices increased and this created gap between rich and poor.
