With the coming of the Delhi Sultans and Mughals, there was a revival of urbanisation process in the medival ages. They developed new trading centres while some emerged as new learning places. Some of the new places established by the mughals and the delhi sultanate where Agra, Hisar, Firozabad and Fatehpur Sikri. With the weakening of the Mughals, political scenarios underwent a drastic change and this led to a decline of many prominent trading centres and cities
