A volcono is a vent or opening on the earth's surface through which hot , molten rock (magma), ash and gases come out from below the surface . The inner layer of the earth is very hot . due to its high temperature, the rocks or matter in that layer remain in liquid state called magma. when this magma bursts out on the surface of the earth, it is called lava. It comes from the inner layer of the Earth and reaches the outer layer through cracks
