Hii,...........................
Wind power is the use of air flow through wind turbines to mechanically power generators for electric powerWind power, as an alternative to burning fossil fuels, is plentiful, renewable, widely distributed, clean, produces no greenhouse gas emissions during operation, consumes no water, and uses little land.
                                             Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy in the wind into mechanical power. This mechanical power can be used for specific tasks (such as grinding grain or pumping water) or a generator can convert this mechanical power into electricity to power homes, businesses, schools, and the like.

wind energy;

  • wind energy is yet another form of solar energy
  • wind is brought about by the differences in pressure which is as a result of the difference in solar heating
  • the flow of wind can be harvested by modern turbines and generators to produce electricity

how wind energy is generated

  • the term wind energy describes the process by which wind is used to generate mechanical energy or electricity
  • turbines or modern generators convert kinetic energy into mechanical energy or electricity .electric power is used in homes and industries to power engines and for lighting at home
  • it is worth noting that wind energy is a renewable source of energy
