Resource planning is a procedure for the suitable use of resources. It is the subtle process that involves:
- It is very important for a country like India which has a spacious variation in the utility of the resources. There are some places that are rich in different types of resources but are small in other important resources.
- In India, there are many regions that can be contemplated independently in terms of the utility of resources but some places are still facing a shortage of important resources. e.g, the state of Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand are rich in coal and mineral deposits.
- Arunachal Pradesh has plenty of water resources but has a shortage in infrastructural development.
