There was a division of society in France. The society was divided into three esates:.
*First estate: it comprise of clergy and they were exempted from paying taxes to the state.
*second estate: is comprised of novels and their two were exempted from paying taxes to the state.
*Third estate: it comprise of big businessman Court officials land labours except and all the members of this state had to pay taxes.
The middle class people and the people who got educated started questioning to the king about imposition of taxes and about privileges.
People from the third estate declared themselves National Assembly. Their objective was to limit the power of the monarch and for that our constitution had to be drafted and within the constitution equal rights to be drafted.
On 21 September 1792 the newly formed Assembly called "Convention" and abolished the monarchy and declared France a Republic.
