in this process a circular piece of filter paper is folded twice to make a cone. this paper cone is kept inside a funnel. a breaker is kept below the funnel and the mixture with insoluble impurities likes and sand,chalk,etc. is poured into the breaker through the funnel. the impurity is left behind the filter paper land clean water is poured into the breaker.
