The municipal corporation is the legal body which works under the local government. It works under the coordination with the State Government in order to execute the plans and programs effectively. The public services which include the supply of pure water, electricity, street lights, cleaning public streets, maintenance of the public hospitals, schools and constructing bridges and other places are some of the obligatory functions of the municipal corporation. Often during the election procedure, the candidate promises to provide all the possible things but after getting elected forgets about the promises. The common people keep on writing urges to them but they don't perform their role efficiently. Things are at times done only on the paper and not in reality.
