He was a poet who was born on 7 May 1861, in Kolkata . He didn't went to school in student life He was having private teachers at home to teach him . He wrote many poems ,songs , essay,drama ,stories etc. He was the first Indian who received the Nobel prize in 1913He also wrote our national anthem" Jana Gana Mana" . He opened his own school in Santiniketan in Bengal. And later it became a university which was known as "Viswa Bharati".
