Write a short paragraph on a day out with my parents

It has been 6 years since we were here and we liked it a lot more. We decided to go on a Monday as we assumed it would have been less busy than a weekend and we hoped a little cheaper too: nice improvements and more animals in the park, good parking which costs 3 € but considering is in the shade, close to the main entrance and well protected it's good value for all day (remember to have the € in coins when leaving or the bar won't open and you could cause a queue). The souvenir shop is not too expensive as during the "celtic tiger" period and the bar is good even if the personnel could do with a little smile here or there considering all customers are helping to pay their wages and seemed a bit rude. The toilets were nice and clean both at the entrance and in the far part of the park. We couldn't get a ride on the little train as it was too busy and had to queue under the sun so we gave it a miss. The park personnel were very friendly with children and easily approachable. We found the entrance expensive for a family of 5 (50 €) but average with most attraction in the country. If it was cheaper we would definitely go back more often. Also to add some shelter in case of rain it could be a good idea. The only problem we had was that coming from Limerick the indications in Cork city and on the dual carriage way are pretty bad or missing in a couple of roundabouts but the closer to the park the better they got. Overall a great days for the kids.

A well-spent weekend
Last Friday, I along with my parents visited a nearby place in Chikkaballapur, Bangalore. We went to the Nandi Hills. This place is a little far away from the city of Bengaluru nearly 70 km. We went there as part of our small weekend trip. We planned to go early in the morning to see the sunrise since early mornings in winter just before the sunrise is the best time to visit. But unfortunately, we ended up stuck at a lot of traffic signals on the way there. We reached there at 8 a.m. The beautiful scenic views of the mountain and the valley surrounded by early sunrise from the fog were worth watching. Nonetheless, it was a good experience with the visit to Nandi Hills, the Nandi temple, and the Demon statue outside the temple, where I took pictures with my parents, and the whole hill view in that location was simply amazing. Going by personal vehicle was a plus for us, as we didn't have to hurry through tourist spots, and we enjoyed the day spent there fully. We had coffee and snacks there. The place was very charming. On the way back to the city, we had yummy food at A2B restaurant. Then we went to the grapevines down the hill at Rampur. We took so many pictures and interacted with the local people. I got to know a lot about grape vines. It was a very enjoyable experience. We were so charmed by the beauty of the hillside scenery. At around 6 pm we went back home and dad made delicious dinner for us. We then watched my favourite animation movie. We were so glad. It was indeed a great day out experience in my life with my parents, the kind I always wished for.
