Just like any other force, frictional force is also very important in our daily lives. Suppose if there will be no frictional force, how would you stop? When bus or truck is stopped by applying brakes, a force of friction acts on it which only makes the body stop. If there will be no such force, then everything which starts moving will never be gonna stop
