Narendra Modi is seen as a fierce leader and a disciplined politician. So let’s know more about Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. 

Mr. Narendra Modi’s full name is Narendra Damodardas Modi. He was born in a middle-class Gujarati family in Vadnagar, Gujarat on 17 September 1950. As being born in a middle-class Indian family, Narendra Modi’s childhood was as same as any ordinary middle-class child. His father’s name was Damodardas Mulchand Modi and mother’s name was Heeraben Modi. He was engaged with Jashodaben Chimanlal when he was just 17 years old but chose to walk away from the marriage and has remained a bachelor. He used to help his father on a tea stall and let her and his own stall.

The full name of 'Narendra Modi' is Narendra Damodardas Modi. Narendra Modi was born on September 17, 1950 in Vadnagar, a small village located in Mahesana district of North Gujarat. Her father's name was Damodaradas Mulchand Modi and mother's name was Hiraben Modi. He was born in a middle class family. At the age of 13, he was engaged to Jasoda Ben Chamanlal and when he got married, he was only 17 years old.

Narendra Modi started in 1958 from an organization focusing on the social and cultural development of India, RSS, and assimilated the spirit of selflessness, social responsibility, dedication and nationalism. He served the flood victims of Gujarat in 1967. During his union work, Narendra Modi has played important roles on many occasions.

By joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 1987, Narendra Modi entered the mainstream of politics. Within a year, he was appointed the Chief Minister of the Gujarat unit of the party. He pioneered the daunting task of activating party workers in the true sense, due to which the party started getting political gains and in April 1990 the coalition government came into existence.

Narendra Modi was appointed as Chief Minister of Gujarat in October 2001. At that time, Gujarat was passing on the opposite effect of several natural calamities, including the devastating earthquake in January 2001. He envisaged five-point strategy for the overall development of the state-Panchamrita Yojana by focusing on the social sector in a suitable manner for the all-round socio-economic development.

Because of his administrative expertise, clear vision and integrity of character, due to all these skills of Narendra Modi, he won a grand victory in the December 2002 general elections. In the 2007 elections again, once again BJP got a huge majority under Modi's leadership. In the 2012 assembly elections, once again, BJP got a huge majority under Modi's leadership. Modi sworn in as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the fourth time in a row.
