Republic day is a national holiday all over India like other two national events (Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanthi). Republic Day celebrated on every 26 January in India.

It was on this day India adopted the constitution declaring our nation as a republic.

On this day in 1950, our constitution replaced the Government of India Act of 1935.

At this day a big event is organized by the Indian government in Rajpath with a parade from different forces, arm and artillery are also part of the performance. Children also organist dances with displaying culture and diversity from different states.

Fighter jets are also part of the attraction in the sky with tricolours forming Indian Flag.
