The poet is in a sad mood and the pleasant raindrops look like tears falling from human eyes.

He remembers his loving and caring mother alongwith his siblings who never fought with him.

He remembers his forgotten lover who memories bring pain to his heart.

He is full of memories but still he can listen to the sweet sound of raindrops falling on his roof. He declares that it is the greatest piece of music he has ever heard.
