If I could be something, I would surely be a tree,

In summer children would play under me,

This would fill them with glee;

They would climb my branches to pluck my fruits,

The entire garden would echo with their elated hoots.

I would fill the air with pure oxygen for them to breathe;

With the fragrance of my flowers the aromatic breeze

Would pass through their happy homes and streets.
