Night Sky
Every night, when I close my eyes I see a boy.
He sails high through the sky on a little wooden raft with a big purple sail.
There is no wind where he is,
so his sail relies on the power of hopes and dreams.
The little boy is alone,
but he is not lonely,
he talks to the old man on the moon.
The boy holds a large bamboo pole,
much greater than any seen by you or me,
The hook dips into the cosmos and sinks into the great unknown.

Pretty lilies open wide, rose bushes in full bloom.
In summer they stand tall and proud as the buds turn into flowers.
I sit and watch as they all flourish and while away the hours.
