Greenwoods Global School, City organized Kite Flying Fest at its campus on November 24, 2018. Students had a great fun at the school! Inter-class and inter-house kite flying contests were held. The students brought colorful kites and strings. The sky over the school was full of multi-colored kites.
Bose house students won the contest by cutting maximum number of kites. The principal and the members of the school management awarded the winners medals and certificates. The parents had also been invited to witness the kite-flying fest.

Ahmedabad, 17 January : A variety of colour for kites adorned the sky this year during the international Kite festival. Many countries participated in this annual festival.
The famous International Kite Festival, organised by the Gujarat State Tourism Corporation was held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel stadium. 14 countries, including India, participated. The kites were very colourful and in a variety of shapes. There were dragon, eagle, snake, crocodile, etc. Some had tiny lights in them while some had studded with stones. Excited spectators watch in awe as the kite soared in the sky, free as birds.
This year the first prize, a golden plate cup in the shape of kite when to Korea. The Korea team successful in the keeping the kite in the sky for a longest time. Last year's winner and the host country India did not stand or change this year and were out of the competition at an earlier stage.
