This year we all can see the glorious sankrant festival in full swing in bhuj.The people of Gujrat are having Kite flying competitions in various societies and functions.Sankrant festival is a big festival here.People get dressed in various colourful costumes ,meet and greet friends and neighbours.Sweets are distributed.During Kite festival people distribute peanut,gazak and rewadiz.
People keep flying kites from early morning to night.They sop at night because there is no light during night time.
Though these days There is ban on Kite Flying festival because poor birds die or get hurt because they get trapped in the threads of Kites.
Greenwoods School Organized Kite Flying Fest
Greenwoods Global School, City organized Kite Flying Fest at its campus on November 24, 2018. Students had a great fun at the school! Inter-class and inter-house kite flying contests were held. colorful kites and strings were brought to school by students. The sky over the school was filled with multi-colored kites.
The contest was won by Bose house students by cutting maximum number of kites. The winners were awarded medals and certificates by the principal and the members of the school management. The parents had also been invited to witness the kite-flying fest. Everyone enjoyed the kite festival.
