The story is shortly this :

There was a girl named Monita . The novel starts in a dramatic manner .

Monita eventually wake up . She thought something fear . It seems to be midnight. She could sense some watery substance at her neck .She thought is it blood or its just her sweat .

Actually , before few months . Monita was studying in a College .She was an BA student . She was a daughter of a Contractor. At first , she met a guy Dhrub . Dhrub is a teacher of High School in her area . He is a handsome guy . Every day when Dhrub is going for his school he always see Monita . He saw her with a special manner . As if he was in a love with her . Monita has also understood Dhrub's feelings. But neither Dhrub nor Monita had ever talked to each , even they know themselves.

One day Monita's friend gave all the information regarding Dhrub . Monita's friend Supriya , said all the biography of Dhrub .

Dhrub was from a poor family . But one thing that make his background worst is his Birth .

His father died when he born . The reason that people say about his father's death is his birth . Because it is said by his village people that he was son of other person who was an MLA .

Actually before marriage of his mother , she was in love with MLA Bhaskar Barua . But when Bhaskar's family get to know that , they opposed . After marriage , Dhrub born only after 5 months . So , people say that , he is actually the son of MLA Bhaskar . After his father's death , Dhrub and his mother had to leave the village because of the people.

It was hard for him to succeed in life . But he managed to complete B.SC and became a teacher of highschool .

After knowing these things about Dhrub , Monita left her dream .

Then , another person came to her life . The son of MLA Bhaskar , Prabhakar . He was her senior in College . It is explained by Prabhakar that when he first saw Monita he became made for her .

So, Monita's father also accept this proposal and Monita became the "nobou of MLA Bhaskar .

Prabhakar was much caring husband . Monita was much happy with her married life .

But morning day , Prabhakar was dreaming and he was saying to Monita "Save me Monita , I want to live with u "Moni "". when Prabhakar wake up , Monita asked him . But he didn't say her anything.

One day , when Prabhakar went out without informing anyone. Monita was very tense . Never had Prabhakar gone out without informing her .

The day passed, it was evening , Prabhakar has not came now also . When a call came to MLA Bhaskar , be went out quickly with his car. Monita's tension became more .

At last , they found Prabhakar. Actually Prabhakar was attacked by some Terrorist . Terrorists had asked a large amount from him and warned him to kill . But he was brave and doesn't take it much serious .

Only for money terrorists had Killed a good person . A person who work hard to earn one coin .

ALFA says "Ami AXOM Rokha korim ". But by killing people. That day when Monita saw Prabhakar , from her eyes one tear has also not felt .

Actually , she suffered for whole life . She has all happiness in her life when Prabhakar was there . But now she has only horrible dreams .

Eventually current came . It was only sweat on her neck .

But she want to die in instead of living without Probhakar .
