In the year 1947, we got Independence from British rule due to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the non-violence movement led by Mahatma Gandhi. All the Indians irrespective of caste, colour or religion joined hands in the spirit of unity and nationalism.

Independence Day reminds us of the freedom struggle which inspires us to promote brotherhood and education.

This day is the result of many sacrifices done by our ancestors,the freedom fighters, from 1947, we have been enjoying our independence only because of our leaders like Mahatma gandhi,Jawaharlal Nehru,Non violence had a great importrance in the fight for freedom.

Unity and brotherhood helped us reach our goal of independence.

Today lets take some time and recap the past where everypone fought for the independence we are enjoying today.and thank them for for we are today.
