Answer:
As my family worked in the fields, I decided to walk across the dirt road separating the cornfield from the field they were in. At only five years old, the corn reached heights unimaginable to me. The tips of the husks seemed to touch the heavens and I was absolutely enamored. I wandered in the field, simply admiring this plant that seemed to be flimsy, yet somehow withstood even some of the worst storms. I found bugs to play with, rocks to kick, and dirt to build castles with. The cornfield engulfed me, and I felt as though I was in another universe until I could no longer see the dirt castle I was building and I could no longer look up to see the corn touching the heavens. It took me nearly two hours to find my way out. The cattle's moos and the horses' whinnying eventually led me out. When I returned to our small farmhouse, my parents had gone to bed, not even noticing that one of their nine children had temporarily gone missing. That was the day I decided to stand strong on my own, just as the corn did in the fields, through any storm I encountered.
