Answer:

The students have to read many books especially story-books so their understanding of the people around them will be broadened and deepened. The people make this world. Understanding of the people will make one close to the society. We are born into this world to live together and love each other. Understanding the low-income-people and less-privileged people by those who stand squarely opposite to them and vice versa is the best way to bring peace and prosperity into this world.

Such understanding will take place among the students only by reading stories of various kinds. Here is the collection of such stories which have characters of all natures. We have taken these stories from the text-books meant for the students in India. Of course those students might have gone through few of these stories during their school-days. But there are many stories which they might have missed in their school days. We have added many such stories which will ignite the interest of the students.

A long wait for the bus - people impatient - a large crowd - a lot of confusion - felt the pocket being touched - looked around - caught the hand - and __________.

 \sf \large{Story}

I woke up early for school today, a very unusual thing indeed. I hopped on toward the bus depot and found out that there was a long line for the very bus that I'm supposed to take to school. So much for having a nice day! Apparently, the previous bus had faced some mechanical issue on its way there, and the people had to wait for the next bus. People had grown very impatient and restless. Some had to go to work, some had to reach college. People like me had to reach school on time, and I guess nobody dreads reaching late more than students do for the morning assembly. Finally, our bus arrived. It was empty, but the number of people in the line was so high that it got full in no time. The large crowd tried to rush in all at once through the tiny door. Because of the crowd, many people can take advantage, like pickpocketing. I realized it when I myself felt my pocket being touched. I quickly looked around and caught the hand of the offender, only to realize that it was a little girl. Amidst the tangled hair and muddy face, all I saw was a look of innocence on her face. I didn't know how to react. When I came to my senses I scolded her. But, she got frightened and said that she wasn't taking my wallet. She was putting it back. She had seen another older girl steal my wallet and quickly took it back and tried to fix things right.

At that age, one is very honest and pure. One can only wonder what makes such innocent children into criminals.
