Merchant and rain

Once there was a merchant who was riding home from a fair. He was coming back from the fair after selling his good there. He had a large sum of money with him. While he was still on the way, there was suddenly a heavy rainfall. The merchant got wet and everything with him got wet. Even the money got wet. He started grumbling and cursed the rain. At the same time, the man was attacked by a robber.

The robber attempted to shoot him down. Luckily, he was saved by the rain.All the attempts failed because the gun powder became damp due to the rain. He couldn’t shoot the merchant and the merchant escaped from him easily.We have a bad notion of cursing all the things of nature because we only think of the negitave side of them . However, these things have positive side too.

The moral of the story is that we should think of the positive side of a thing too. The merchant grumbled when it was raining but that proved a blessing to him
