There was once a window. The window was made of glass. That window was installed in Joe’s and Liane’s room. The window was so beautiful that it glowed when the sunlight hit it . Joe and Liane loved the window very much. One day, some boys were playing under the window. When one of the batsmen hit the ball with his bat, the ball flew into the sky and …..Crash! The ball hit the window and the glass shattered to the ground. When Liane and Joe heard this sound they came running in the room ,but it was too late. They told their mother what had happened very sadly. Oh how wet their pillows were that night! They cried and cried and cried all night. When it was morning they woke up to find a new window installed in the room that was made with tempered glass. Tempered glass is very strong and cannot be broken easily. When Joe and Liane saw this they were so overjoyed and happy that they jumped out of their beds and went straight to the living room and hugged their father for they knew who had fixed the windowpane.
