Rajan, the master of Chhotu, domestic help was very kind and considerate.
Chhotu was very reliable and an honest person and Rajan believed him blindly.
Chhotu took all the responsibilities of the wedding in the family and made sure that all the arrangements were made properly so that the guests could not complain.
Amidst a function, one of the guests started shouting because he could not find his gold chain.
Everybody tried to calm him down but he blamed the servant Chhotu for stealing it.
The guest called the police and got Chhotu arrested, the police investigated the matter and beat Chhotu up so that he confesses the crime.
However, Chhotu stuck to his statement that he had not stolen the chain.
Soon after the chain was found under the guest's bed and the information was sent to the police.
Chhotu's master was also guilty of not defending him but he made sure that Chhotu does not have to stay inside the jail any longer.
He got Chhotu released and asked him to come back home but Chhotu refused as he was deeply hurt.
