Answer:

Outwardly appearances are sometimes deceptive. It is not always possible to make judgment about the real worth of a thing by its exterior appearance. Many articles made of an inferior material are given a nice shine outside in order to deceive a customer. It becomes quite difficult to know what is contained inside the shine. The outward shine also helps in hiding a defect in the article. That is why it is a famous saying that all that glitters is not gold. The gold can be gold when its inner side is also gold. Likewise, in the real life situation, many crooks, by their outward attitude and behavior, make them-selves appear to be gentlemen and noble people. In every walk of life, on should learn the lesson that outward appearances may not always be the truth.
