There was a lot of excitement in the air . The sound of carckers could be heard all around !! Manu rushed out . After all it was Diwali . Who could resist staying in the house while the rest were bursting crackers and lighting diyas . But this very year Manu was sad because his father was out of station and couldn't buy him crackers to burst ! All of his friends were having a lovely time , chatting and enjoying among themselves while he was sitting in his house reading a book . Manu started to cry out of sorrow . Diwali was the festival Manu enjoyed a lot . His grandpa heard him sobbing and decided to get some crackers for him . He went downt to the town to buy him some crackers . After all Manu was his grandson . He went down with his wallet and walking stick . Soon when he returned he saw Manu in his bed !! He gave Manu some carckers and said Enjoy !! Manu was glad and hgged his grandpa ! That evening his grandpa and he had a lovely time together ....
