Zoya was transfixed. It was not the kind of end that she wanted. Indeed she wanted it to be exciting and adventurous, but it was not to be. Her plan was thwarted by her best friend. She had been friends with Zuhura for over twenty years and she could not believe that her best friend had finally betrayed her.
She had planned her escape from the country to the last detail. She had avoided her home for two weeks while they looked for her. Her best friend had allowed her to crash at her place while the heat cooled off.
Zoya had crossed some very bad people and they were irate. She had managed to skim two million dollar in cash from the deal her boss had made. The boss had discovered that the cash was missing three days earlier.
Zuhura had been cleaning the house and was lifting Zoya's bags when she found dollar bills stashed in a bag. She had counted the money when Zoya was not around and she was shocked to discover the two million dollars. She had called the police in panic. She knew that her best friends was in some kind of trouble and she had two so something about it.
