I heard the cries,' Save! save! help!' The cries alarmed me. I ran in the direction from which the cries were coming. I saw a house on fire and people desperately trying to douse at me. I panicked in this situation. When I first saw the scene I was very scared about the fire and how to save the people. Suddenly it stuck into my mind that I should the fires station for help. I called them up. They asked me the address and assured that they would be reached within 20 minutes. Many people have gathered around the house. They were attempting at their level to put off the fire. Some were throwing water from the bucket, some with the pipes. Also, they brought blankets, first aid boxes and helped the people who have been injured. An ambulance too arrived at the spot. The fire was put off by the firemen and the injured people were carried to the hospital.
