It was a hot summer day and the sun was shining brightly . A man was walking by the road when he heard a cat meowing from the bushes nearby. He ignored at first but then something caused him to go and check.
He went near the bush and tried to look what was wrong.
To his astonishment ; there was a little kitten in the bush ! He couldn't believe his own eyes .
But he saw that the cat which gave birth to the little kittens had already died before he could take his attention towards it.
He was dejected at the condition of the poor little kitten . He knew that the kittens wouldn't live long as they did not have a mother to take care of them. So , to help them , he took them home and gave them some milk . The kittens hurriedly drank up .
He tried to take the kitten to the doctor who could help them with thier survival.
After he went to the doctor he learnt that a kitten without a mother may not live long.
After knowing this ; he started taking care of them even more. But this man realised that helping someone gives you lots of happiness and prosperity that is even more cherishable than getting anything !
The kitten grew up ; became a cat with peculiar behaviour . It cared for its master , took care of the house , etc.
But one day ; the cat suddenly started becoming cold , had a stroke and died.
This cat would have died the same day if the man wouldn't have helped it but lived for 8 long years.
Moral :
While helping someone ; if we don't expect anything in return , may not bring anything good for us but surely make it a memorable moment for the one who is being helped.
