2. Dignity of Surdas

Surdas was one of Lord Krishna's biggest devotees. He loved Krishna so much that he has written a million devotional songs in his honor. According to the story of Surdas, there was a blind man, who once stripped Radha's anklet when she was following him. When asked to return it, he refused saying that he could not confirm his identity as he was blind. At this point, Krishna blessed him with vision, after which Surdas requested Krishna to remove his vision again. When asked why he said that he has seen Krishna and he wants to see again and there is nothing.
