John was coming back from school when he felt that someone was following him. He started to walk faster, his heart was beating fast. He didn't look at where he was going, he was actually going in the wrong path where all the heavy vehicles are said to move. And once he turned forward he was hit but a truck.
"Where-.."
"Don't try to Speak", said someone. "You lost your life"
"That.. That truck, it hit me.. I.. I.. died?"
"Yep, you got hit by a truck. Don't feel bad, everyone's mortal, everyone dies"
John looked around and found nothingness. It was just him & the other person speaking.
"Are you God?", Asked John with excitement.
"Oh, well, yes, I am." came the reply.
John looked with fascination. To him, that person didn’t look like God. He just looked like some man. Some vague authority figure. More like a grammar school teacher than the almighty.
He asked, "So is this afterlife?"
"Sort of."
"What will happen to me now, will I go to hell or heaven? Where is everyone?", asked John in curiosity.
"Neither one, you'll be reincarnated!"
"When I get reborn, I'll just be in a blank state, right? A baby. I'll forget all my past experiences, what's the point?", asked John.
"Your soul is more magnificent, beautiful, and gigantic than you can possibly imagine. A human mind can only contain a tiny fraction of what you are. It's like sticking your finger in a glass of water to see if it's hot or cold. You put a tiny part or yourself into the vessel, and when you bring it back out, you've gained all the experiences it had."
God looked into John's eye and said, "The meaning of life, the reason I made this whole universe, is for you to mature."
"You mean mankind? You want us to mature?", asked John.
"No. just you. I made this whole universe for you. With each new life you grow and mature, and become a larger and greater intellect"
"Just me? What about everyone else?", screamed John.
"There is no one else," God said. "In this universe, there's just you, and me."
John stared blankly at God. "But all the people on earth...?"
"All you. Different incarnations of you."
"Wait. I'm everyone!?", John screamed again.
"Now you're getting it." God said, with a congratulatory slap on the back.
"I'm every human who ever lived?"
"Or who will ever live, yes."
"I'm Abraham Lincoln?"
"And you're John Wilkes Booth, too." God added.
"I'm Hitler?" John asked, appalled.
'And you're the millions he killed."
"I'm Jesus?"
"And you're everyone who followed him.", came the reply.
John fell silent. And that's where came the end, one human was getting to know every single thing & that's where he was given a potion to drink to forget everything he knew. He was now reincarnated, as a Panda ._. xD xD
