Write a short story in about 150 words by continuing the following : " I jumped out of the bed at midnight _________________"

I jumped out of the bed at midnight as a loud shriek threw everyone out of their sheets in the building. Everyone rushed out of their homes and came to the lobby with a single question lingering in everyone's mind "From where did the sound come?" It was the shrill cry of a lady, undoubtedly, but which lady? As every single girl or woman we knew resided in our building, was there,wearing the same kind of expression on their faces as everyone else present there.....
