Mayhem at Midnight
Last night I was home alone. My parents had gone to attend the 25th anniversary of one of their colleagues.Mamma told me to be a good child and do my homework when they were away. She also told me ti sleep at 10o'clock as they were going to be back quite late.
I hard the car leave the drive when I stood at the window to wave them goodbye. As soon as they left, a wide grin spread on my face. I finally home alone ! So I was gonna have a lot of fun. I took my PlayStation and connected it and I started playing my favorite game GTA . Oh it was such a great time. I had the pleasure to play my PS after weeks! Soon I got tired and was also feeling sleepy. I looked at the clock and was shocked to see it was already 11:30. Mamma daddy would be soon returning back . I hastily packed my PlayStation and hurriedly changed into my night clothes.

If my parents found that I was still awake I would surely get a punishment. But then there was something weird. I could hear whispers and the sound surely didn't belong to my parents. I got up to check who it was. I softly opened the door of my room and peeped outside. What I saw left me stunned for there were two masked figures who were trying to steal our valuables. They were burglars!
I was too frightened to move . I couldn't do anything but see them bag all the valuable show pieces in the hall. Then I got a brilliant idea . I rushed back in my room and fetched my toy car from underneath the bed.
I turned it on and the sound of the siren made the burglars freeze for a second. They were so frightened that they left all they had taken there and fled from the house. I was so relieved and also proud that I saved my house from burglars. Smiling at my bravery and feeling highly relieved i went back to my bed.
