in the year 3000. in my opinion and i’m an optimist one.
i think the population will be stagnant in between 10–12 billion due to conscience of people related to child care, at present, people in developed country has show this kind of family planning. so in the far future i think most of people are aware related to family planning.
in energy. the world energy sources mostly comes from the sun and the wind, the rooftile in every house is becoming solar cell, it harness sunlight energy directly to their home battery for storage and night use.
the transportation mostly consist of electric vehicle, make it clean and reduce noise pollution, a drone with capacity of one person will be main means of transportation, especially in mega cities, so the sky will be full with many drones transporting people and goods.
as for food, the food farming will be efficient, there will be vertical farming everywhere, even in the sea, people will makes floating farm, it got its fresh water from desalination that powered from solar plant. there will be many genetic engineered seed that benefited much more than original one.
life will more wonderful, people will be united due to globalization with one goal. to go to outer space, looking a way to colonize mankind in other planet.
