A Memorable Birthday Party

My friend Ramesh had a birthday party last Monday. It was one of the best parties I've ever attended so far. In fact, I was a part of his parent's plan to make it all a surprise for him. They requested me to call him at my house on Sunday evening on some pretext. I had my cousin also who had come from Ahmedabad. I told Ramesh that Raghav, my cousin, wanted to meet him and asked him to come in the evening. We chatted and chatted till thirty minutes past eleven and then there came his parents to take Ramesh back home. Of course, Raghav and I also accompanied them.

When Ramesh's father parked his car in their society, it was five minutes to twelve and by the time we entered their lobby, it was exactly twelve. Ramesh had a huge surprise in store as his sister had decorated the lobby aesthetically and in the center was a table with a delicious cake baked by his mom. He cut the cake and we all wished him a happy birthday. Since it was his eighteenth birthday, his father gave him the key of a bike that he longed to take ever since he had come to class eleventh. His father, then, had promised him to give it to him on his eighteenth birthday. He was on cloud nine. He couldn't have asked for more. We slept quite late but had a sound sleep. 

Next day was Ramesh's day. He had invited all his friends and we all went to a mall and had unlimited fun. Truly as it has left unlimited memories to cherish.
