Once during our summer vacations, my cousin Jacob and I went to visit our grandparents and stay there for some weeks. They lived near a lake and we had always enjoyed being there and swimming and boating.
The day after we arrived at their place, we immediately decided to go boating and enjoy maybe, even a bit of some swimming. Hiring a paddle boat as we want the experience, we set out after breakfast and told our grandmother to pack some light snacks for us.
Once we set out, it was a nice weather to be out and we couldn't feel more happier that we had chosen the perfect day to go boating. We went far from the house as the sun was shining brightly and the sky was clear. But after a couple of hours, the sky suddenly became dark and changed the weather. It started pouring heavily while we were also trying frantically to paddle as fast as possible to shore, while our boat was rocking so violently. Luckily for us, a man in a motor boat just arrived who was also possible on his way home. He told us to come aboard his boat and lugs our paddle boat till we reached the shore.
Our grandparents were out at the veranda, worried about our safety. It was all thanks to that man in the boat who saved our lives. We are so grateful to that kind stranger who was a savior to us.
