Mr Kernel was an avid stamp collector.
He had been collecting since he was ten years old.
During his tenth birthday, his father had gifted him a book where he could safely store his stamps.
He was always fascinated by the intricate design in such a small space.
Anyone who knew Mr Kernel would know that the best gift for him is a stamp.
Sadly, the clock has started to tick for Mr Kernel and he felt that he should pass his hobby down to his young grandson Neil.
Neil was an active young boy in his teens.
He loved his grandpa Kernel dearly.
So, when his grandpa asked him to look after his stamp collection, he readily accepted.
He safely kept the collections in a clean bag and put it in the attic.
Soon, Mr. Kernel passed away.
At the beginning, whenever he missed his grandpa, Neil would go to the attic and browse through the stamps.
As time passed on, Neil got busy with his life as every young guy does.
Soon, he was moving out of town, as he had to go to a faraway city to pursue his dreams.
Thus, he started to clear the attic with the thoughts of putting up a yard sale on Facebook.
He chanced upon the stamp collection, it was dusty and looked lonely.
He felt that he should pass on these stamps to someone who loved it as much as his Grandpa did.
He put up an advertisement on his Facebook sale page and soon he was contacted by an auction house run by an old lady, Mrs. Corn. She gave him a good deal and also passionately talked about several of the stamps.
Feeling they were in great hands, Neil happily parted with the stamps and was now completely ready to move on to the next phase of his life.
