I was fast asleep. Suddenly there was a knock at the door'. I woke up in consternation. Such loud knocking in the dead of night scares one to death, so was I. my parents woke up too. We switched on the lights opened the door. To our utter surprise, there was no one! We kept standing for a while indecisively in the porch. All lights of our neighbors off! Tnded. I asked my dad to call the police. However, my dad woke the culprit’s parents and reported the matter. The angry father of the miscreant took him to task and apologized to my father for the inconvenience.

               Thus I felt like a Sherlock Holmes that night!
