In the story "The Fun They Had", Margie was a girl who was in an emotional trauma regarding the school of her great-grandfather's times. She hated school because of her bad performance in the Geography test. She was in trauma that old schools were far better than her school. She was having mechanical teachers and her school was a room next to her bedroom. She studied alone. she was not having any classmates. So, she thought that old schools must have been fun because all students used to sit together in class. Their teachers were humans. They enjoyed and shouted in the school playground. But her school was totally different and very boring for her.
So, this was the emotional trauma faced by Margie in the story.
