Good morning everyone present; I am going to speak proudly about the Indian Army. Right now if we are enjoying freedom, liberty, and a great life, it is because of our brave army men standing on guard to safeguard our country’s huge Line of Control on the western and eastern fronts. Some of them do the hardest duties in the world at Siachin where temperature is freezing to bone.
If I say India is safe just because of them I am not exaggerating. Infiltration from the western and eastern borders has increased quite a lot. They have to be on their guard round the clock. Our courageous soldiers deserve kudos for having dealt with the enemies of the country with iron hand. Terrorists and enemies of the countries had started taking the armed forces for granted. They thought the army could be made an easy target. But they taught them a befitting lesson.
Two surgical strikes in the year 2016 and 2017 were befitting replies to the enemies. The first was done in Myanmar and the second was done in POK. The enemies came to know vengeance will pursue them if they will target security forces. The precision of the surgical strikes was perfect. The one conducted in POK inflicted heavy loss on the enemies. The entire world appreciated this retaliatory response.
Be it tackling terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir or fighting Naxalites insurgents in Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, etc., our soldiers are always there to keep our country safe.
The current army chief’ dynamism and courage also is commendable; he has taken army’s achievements to greater heights. The entire nation is proud of all security forces. Once again I congratulate them for the successful surgical strikes. May God always keep them alert, safe and sound! Jai Hind.
