we subtract 3x from both the sides
4y+3x-3x=7-3x
4y=7-3x
divide both side by 4
we get
y=7/4-3x/4
y=1.75-0.75x
4y+3x-3x=7-3x
4y=7-3x
divide both side by 4
we get
y=7/4-3x/4
y=1.75-0.75x

i think there is no proper method regarding to this problem
and the best method is trial and error method . i mean substituting the related values is best i.e x=1 (or) y=1 and this equation have unique solutions. so we need to plot a graph to get answer
