Positives and negatives may attract:
This I know to be an absolute fact.
Chemistry pertains to more than you think.

Between people I find it could achieve,
This isn't just molecules and atoms.
It could be like the leaves in the Autumn...
You and me have chemistry, I believe.

But fear deters me from getting too near;
For love unrequited is the worst kind
And time may be something I would rewind.
I would hate to experience that, dear.

Despite my inhibitions, the future
is bright and we can let our love mature.
