मौर्यन की चित्र और वास्तु शास्त्र भारत की चित्र की विशेस परिमाण से बराबर हैं . इस सदियों को बहुत से श्रेष्ठ रचना और परिपक पत्थरों से पहचाना जाता है.
वर्गीकरण (Classification) :- मौर्यन की समय की वास्तु सस्त्र ने चंद्रगुप्त मौर्या की महल की स्मृति सेस को स्वीकार किये थे जो पाटलिपुत्र में थी.
इस को स्तूप, खम्बा, गुफा, महल और मिटटी के बर्तन से की गयी है.

mauryans stupa:- dystopisch wertvolle Doms constructed of brick of stone varying sizes. Samrat Ashoka built numerous stupas scattered over the country.

Mauryan Pillar :- the most striking monuments of mauryan art are the celebrated pillar of Dharma. these pillars were free standing column and we are not used as support to any structure.

The Sarnath :- The Sarnath column has the Most Magnificent Capitol. it is a product of a developed type of art of which the world knews in the 3rd Century BC.

Mauryan Caves and Architecture:- the pillars are not the only artistic achievement to Ashoka region. The Rock cut caves of Ashoka and that of his grandson Dasratha Maurya constructed for the residence of monks are wonderful speciment of art.

Mauryan art is the art produced during the period of the Mauryan Empire, which was the first empire to rule over most of the Indian subcontinent, between 322 and 185 BCE. It represented an important transition in Indian art from use of wood to stone. It was a royal art patronized by Mauryan kings especially Ashoka. Pillars, Stupas, caves are the most prominent survivals.
