Too Many Facilities Make One Physically Crippled

Good evening everyone. Today's topic is an eye-opener for a lot of youngsters.

In the last couple of decades, many facilities have come into our homes which have made us comfortable. While certain conveniences are important for a smooth life, some have made us lazy and pampered. One good example is a child who has always been dropped and picked up by a parent or a driver. He would never get used to a public transport or walking. Many children feel below their dignity to walk down to school or take a bus and parents succumb to their wants. So in this case, when a necessity arises he would feel very uncomfortable not having a personal transport.

Too many facilities make us physically crippled

Good morning everyone present here; I am going to express my views on ‘Too many facilities make us physically crippled’.

It is quite true the more facilities we have, the more dependent, lazy, comfort loving we tend to become. In the luxury and comfort of these facilities we fail to tap immense power that lies dormant in all of us. For example, if we have a motor-bike or car, we use it quite often. This deprives us of using our body limbs and muscles. On account of using less physical power, we begin to lose it and become weak.

On the other hand a person who does not have a scooter or car, will use bicycle or walk long distances. This physical exercise makes him fit and strong. The truth is the less we are dependent on facilities, the stronger we become physically. Too much dependence on facilities creates a comfort zone around us; success and skills development always lie out of this comfort zone.

Hence, I conclude by reasserting, too many facilities make us physically crippled. We should depend upon our own powers rather than facilities.
