Today I would like to throw light on how the present world is moving towards an entirely materialistic and emotionless side where 'the fire and ice' lying inside the humans would bring the probable end and destruction of this world. 'Fire' is denoted as 'desire' and 'ice' is represented as the 'hatred'(as said by Frost), these two human feelings are the ones that will cause this world to end.
In the present world, each individual is running behind materialistic and fiery desires so heedlessly that they stopped caring if it is harming anyone or negatively affecting them. While the 'ice or hatred' lying inside one human towards the other adds fuel to the fire. Frost feels that these are the two most likely causes of leading the present world to end. Today, people are not happy with what they have but sad with what others possess and eventually causing them to develop jealousy, hatred, and ignorance. This will lead the world to receive an intended and imminent end of its own self. In order to prevent this destruction, we must share and spread love, kindness, humanity, and nobility so that these fire and ice cannot overpower and bring destruction.
